The Professional Salon-Spa-Shop Industry is under attack, there are several states where independent house and senate bills are being reviewed for repeal. Why? Two reasons

1. Salon Professionals have become complacent in efforts to maintain high education, testing, and licensing standards.

2. Salon Profrssionals unwittingly become complicit by allowing lobbyists to bribe and brain wash lawmakers with non-factual data about health and safety regulations.

3. DEREGULATION reduces a professinals value and worth but will undoubtedly increase profit margins for corporations who inturn pay off bribes or dividend to lawmakers who sit on their corporate boards or malt in fact be private investors or silent partners. Example If you can pay an unlicensed person minimum wage and still charge an average salon quality service prices which equals bigger profits, likewise the traditional stylist previously held in high regard because of the personal investment in their training and licensure in turn has no argument to increase their personal worth or value.
