Cornwall Council are planning to add Pay and Display to most of the free roadside parking currently available in Falmouth and Penryn.

They also want to introduce resident only parking in other areas people park when visiting town.

Proposed P&D locations include:

> Gylly beach (behind the park where we all park to swim and take the kids on the beach)
> All the way down Kimberley Park rd and Killigrew Street 
> New Street (the road behind and parallel to Market St)
> Above Castle beach 
> Alongside Swanpool Lake 

If this goes ahead you will have no option but to pay for parking if you want to visit Falmouth. Making it even harder for local shops to compete with out of town stores.
