As more and more supporters call for a council tax boycott, whilst the drive for Cornwall to be designated "Natural Park" steadily grows, one angry supporter added this on the demoralising "development" of Camborne, under the auspices of Phil Mason and his chronically feeble department: "Another planned development showing all that's wrong with Cornwall Council's plans for 'growth' - on Green Field site, outside Camborne, with firms who will suck profits out of Cornwall employing staff on part-time hours with minimum wages!" www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/lidle-kfc-bargains-starbucks-camborne-813670 Photo shows Tolgarrick Farm at Arch Hill (Truro), where Persimmon have plans to add thousand more executive homes, after Lord Falmouth successfully removed the lifelong tenant farmer. Mary May, chairwoman of Cornwall Council, said: "Protecting the countryside depends on how strong the council’s plan is, in the face of challenges from developers. It seems inevitable that some greenfield land will go. But local people need to have their say." https://www.byline.com/column/77 Shame that the exact opposite of this is true; as perfectly summed up by Cornwall's former CEO last year: it's a developers' agenda. In Falmouth, U-turn by (Falmouth) councillors over student accommodation, but not Penryn councillors! www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/u-turn-falmouth-councillors-over-810799 If you'd like to watch your expensive Planning Chief in action, why not come to St. Austell on Friday: file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Iwan%20le%20Moine/My%20Documents/Downloads/Housing%20growth%20and%20delivery%20summit%20Nov%202017%20Agenda.pdf Venue: St Austell Business Park Conference Centre, PL25 4FD.
