Councillors stood up for the community in this case, but planners once again favoured with developer profits ahead of community requirements for infrastructure, jobs, surgeries, schools and decent roads...
Public servants are ripping Cornwall up to help developers make a packet.
Moral bankruptcy in the extreme...

Meanwhile in Perranporth...
Despite nearly 100 letters of objection, planners force through more luxury flats for beleaguered seaside town:

"The original planning application to demolish the hotel was submitted in February 2014 and received 84 letters of objection from people against the development.
Despite the plans being initially refused (councillors), they were granted at appeal (planners/inspector).
The one, two, three or four bedroom beachside properties are selling for £160,000-£850,000. Four two-bedroom properties out of the 35 homes are classed as affordable, with a two bedroom house costing between £250,000 and £295,000 and a four bedroom house costing between £625,000 and £650,000."
So four units are deemed affordable, including two at around £650,000!! Affordable to whom? A young stonemason from Rose or the Duke of Cornwall's lapdog??
