Today marks a week since we started our campaign to get dog parks opened in Cork City center. In just seven days with your support we have gathered nearly 1000 signatures, the story has made it to three separate websites the latest being echolive.ie and we've had two councillors agree to put forward motions for dog friendly zones in Tory Top park. This is an amazing show of support for the need for dog parks in the city. Right now we can only wait in hope that the meeting tomorrow there will be an agreement to create an enclosed area in Tory Top park that would allow us to let our dogs run free. This is just the beginning. We need to have these dog friendly zone in multiple parks throughout the city. Please continue to sign and share the petition and add suggestions for other parks that might be suitable.
A week ago I could never have imagined the difference we would make in just seven days. We can continue making this difference if we work together and keep the conversation going.
