Make Equitable the Representation on the NYC Council Health Committee
The Issue
The Bronx has the worst health in NYC; but it also has many organizations with real and innovative solutions. We feel that equitable representation on the Health Committee would help bring solutions forward to the benefit of all.
Right now, there is NO Bronx representative on the Committee. It currently consists of 3 Brooklyn members and 2 Manhattan member.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge NYC City Council Speaker, Corey Johnson, to make representation equitable on the Health Committee by appointing membership from the Bronx.
