We will be meeting in front of Our Lady of Fatima School at 1:15pm and as it starts getting crowded, moving down the block towards the church. We now have 1300 signatures and it's time our voices are heard. At the homeowners meeting on May 8th, YAI acknowledged that the lease did indeed state the intention for the old convent would be for chemically dependent people, yet they deemed it a clerical error meant for another lease and would have it amended. 5 weeks later nothing has been ammended. We also asked for clearer stipulations in the 30 year lease and no response. Our elected officials have let us down, however a few candidates running against our elected officials will be joining us on Tuesday to show their support for our cause. This will be peaceful, orderly and efficient. Please stay on the sidewalks, don't block entrances, act with dignity and respect and our voices will come across clearer. Pass the word on to those that might be interested.There will be handouts given out explaining clearly the issues at hand. Lets stand together for a great cause. See you all on Tuesday!
