Will masks stay in Contra Costa or will they go? Your voice is needed today.

The Board of Supervisors is set to rubber stamp the new Health Officer this afternoon, in addition to giving an update on local Covid measures.
Will they keep the mask requirement? Will they eliminate it? Who knows, so let's keep the pressure on!

Update from our friends at Team Reality Contra Costa County:
"Today the Board of Supervisors will vote on a resolution to appoint Ori Tzvieli as the new county health officer. The County never made a public announcement that Chris Farnitano resigned, and now the Board is poised to rubberstamp the selection made by Anna Roth, Director of Health Services.
We can’t say whether Dr. Tzvieli is the best candidate for the job, since the Board has not put him through an interview process or considered any other candidates. This is a dereliction of the Board’s duties."
Considering the last two years have revealed the Health Officer to be the most powerful person in the county, capable of regulating your every breath, we feel it is critical that a thorough hiring process take place.
If you feel the same, please sign their petition and comment when item D.5 comes up during today's meeting.

Did you see this video of Karen Mitchoff dismissing a mother's genuine concerns that children were bearing too much of the burden, only to turn around and blame young children for spreading Covid to older folk?
It's really quite something. Watch now
