Hey, supporters of the forest and wetlands!

Even though some of the trees have been taken down, the blasting permit has not yet been granted. We have been told that there will be a multi-town department  meeting regarding safety but we don't have a date for that yet.

We've been encouraging our local officials, especially the Fire Department - who issues the blasting permit and oversees the blasting operation - to hold an open public forum. This is the biggest and longest blasting operation in Wakefield's history and the public deserves to know what to expect.

Since our legal bills continue, we do, too - and we will be holding a big yard sale this Saturday, September 23, from 8 am to around noon or so. The rain date is Sunday September 24.

7 June Circle, in Wakefield. June Circle is off of Farm Street, passed the high school and just before the Saugus line.

There will be a bit of everything (except for clothing).......tools, books, jewelry, toys and games, glassware, small furniture, plants, housewares, puzzles, some new items and some vintage items as well!
