This new milestone tells us what we've known all along - that there is TREMENDOUS support for building the new Northeast Metro Tech School in Wakefield on one of the already-developed sites and NOT up on the forested hilltop.

It makes no sense to destroy a whole unique forest and valuable wetlands, kill the animals and add to the neighborhood flooding when it isn't necessary. 

But that is exactly what the NEMT School Building Committee wants to do over the objections of thousands of residents and officials. No one can figure out why all this unnecessary destruction and death is still planned. It makes no sense .
