Many may not have voted 'yes' if they were told before the vote on Jan 25 2022: 

• The proposed site on top of the hill was chosen over another site which had previously been recommended in a preliminary feasibility study that would be more cost-efficient
• Student parking would be at the bottom of the hill, 60 feet below the elevation of the school
• The proposed new building would be built on top of a hillside
• It would require blasting of the hilltop 
• A pristine forest would be cut down
• It would destroy vernal pools found within the forest and critical habitat for species of concern
