Problem
Manningtree Library faces possible closure within the next two years.

Solution
Awareness needs to be brought to the attention of our local MP regarding how import this facility is for the community.

Personal story
Both of my children use the library, as do their family and friends. I also attend the well run baby rhymetime, and also various children’s activities in the school holidays.
This library is at the centre of our community and it would be such a shame to see it go.
Keeping children and young people reading (and being read to) is pivotal to their development, therefore having the facilities to encourage engagement in this activity is so important!
