There are very exciting developments in New Mexico - the team behind a film called At Your Cervix, which explores the issue of non-consensual intimate exams in medical education as well as the beautiful practice of Gynecological Teaching Associates - is advocating for the passage of consent legislation similar to what we passed in Connecticut. They already have a legislator on board and very committed to writing a comprehensive consent bill and getting it passed. I am thrilled to be collaborating with them on this (and possibly bills in other states - stay tuned!) and to continue working on this important issue!
