My friends,

It is with immense joy that I write to inform you that this bill has just unanimously passed the CT Senate!

The final formal step is for it to be signed by the governor and I’m going to wait to officially celebrate until then, but this is truly momentous. It has been a hard and long fight for us and for the legislators and activists and organizations pushing this forward since before I even got involved - we wouldn’t be here without them and we wouldn’t be here without you!

I will send an update when I find out when it goes to the governor for his signature, but right now all I can say is THANK YOU! Thank you all so much!
