More changes

Jesse moved from the ICU to the ortho/neuro wing of the hospital yesterday (Saturday 9/30). This is the same wing he was in a couple weeks ago. When he was here last time we had some issues with his care. However, after working our way up the administrative chain we left very pleased with the people taking care of him. He has one of the nurses and nursing assistants that were really good to him last time so that's good news! I was excited in my last update that Jesse was off pain meds. Unfortunately, while I thought that the dialysis had removed everything from his system, I was wrong and there was still quite a bit of the morphine and other medications still floating around. They continued to only administer Tylenol when needed and his pain level remained at a two. Until today that is... now he is experiencing symptoms of withdrawal and continues to only receive Tylenol for his pain. Please keep him in your prayers as he makes his way through this bump (mountain) in the road. Thank you, Emily
