"Emotions neither prove nor disprove facts. There was a time when any rational adult understood this. But years of dumbed-down education and emphasis on how people 'feel' have left too many people unable to see through this media gimmick." -- Thomas Sowell

Have you noticed that when persons claim they have been been "traumatized" by an incident, they never provide medical evidence of PTSD or other forms of trauma? That's because evidence can be refuted and disproven.

Instead, they say, "I feel traumatized." Of course, a feeling can never be shown to be false.

So the next time a self-proclaimed victim says she feels traumatized, feel free to answer, "I understand those may be your feelings. But what medical proof do you have?"

End of discussion.

Sincerely,

Edward Bartlett
