CNN Town Hall and More

I attended the CNN Town Hall on Wednesday. I was quite happy that Marco Rubio was actually discussing change and possibly changing his perspective on some issues. However, the second half of the segment was not productive. Dana Loesch-who was supposed to tell us what the NRA actually stands for- dodged every question. On Wednesday, I also wrote an op-ed for Bustle telling my story of what it was like to be a survivor of a school shooting and why students like me have had enough with inaction from politicians. We’re organizing, using our voices, and we aren’t going away until we see real change to our nation’s gun laws and we remove lawmakers who are bought and sold by the NRA.
