Recently I had the opportunity to sit down and Interview Korey Wise of the Central Park Five and I left the interview empowered and thinking. I thought of many ways to bring justice to the people and families that suffered at the hands of police brutality and wrongful convictions. I believe that by creating a day to acknowledge these people we will not only lift their spirits but we would bring upon change and hopefully start the conversation that will strengthen laws.

This petition is important for you to sign if you or a family member has ever been harassed by the police, if you've ever been jailed for a crime that you didn't commit, If you've watched someone brutalized by the police, if you yourself have been brutalized by the police And/Or corrections.

The goal is to have this become a National day one day but for now I hope to start small within our communities and by signing this petition you can help start the conversation with the State Assembly of chosen states.
