The events surrounding the impeachment proceedings continue. On Tuesday, the House Judiciary Committee’s Democratic majority released two proposed articles of impeachment against President Trump. 

If impeached, he would be the third president in American history to be charged with high crimes and misdemeanors. 

The first article relates to abuse of power in pressuring Ukraine to assist in re-election efforts. The second article charges him with obstruction of Congress for refusing to provide documents and blocking testimony.
