The National Suicide Prevention Hotline is not a common number known to the general public. This has become a necessity as Suicides in the United States have increased significantly. The fact that online articles related to the subject matter post the Suicide Prevention Hotline at the conclusion of the article leads one to believe that this information is not well known or advertised outside of a tragedy.  This petition is to ensure accessibility of the National Suicide Prevention Hotline to all mobile phone users without then having to look up the information thereby making it easier for people to seek help from someone who is willing to listen to them during their time of need.
