As an immediate flow on and not even waiting for the Ministerial Health Council (and this is lawful) the Senators have independently announced a new inquiry. Whether this is a 'collusive' attempt to stall a frequently called for Royal Commission decision or not, no one will know - at least publicly. This new Senate Inquiry zooms down to more narrow terms of reference - and the targets are AHPRA, Colleges and 'other organisations' (which cover health authorities and boards)
