as you know we hit our 5th signature. we need to keep this going. a huge favor would be reposting this in r/autism on reddit.

I really don't SCLARC to provide me services at this point, they'll just make up new BS criteria as an excuse to continue violating the Lanterman Act's protection of Autist entitlement to services. You know the original reason they denied me was for having Asperger's (which is considered a type of autism, both under the dm5 and the Lanterman Act itself, and has been for generations). now they're coming back and telling me they're denying me for being "less disabled" the irony is I would just need access to the interview training they have specific for Autist, a life skills coach (which I think they call an independent living concierge or some other name like that), and a job placement program while I'm between jobs as well as an advocate for dealing with my employer.

I should probably visit my former therapist from when I used to have kaiser (their one decent department, over her, amazing therapist), to see if she would be willing to sign this.

I am thinking of posting part of the Original Denial letter.

I also don't trust SCLARC to continue to provide these services if they did cave in and give them to me. and I want them held accountable so they never do this to anyone ever again.
