Continuous borrowing of money to apply a quick fix for the current cost of living crisis will lead to more serious economical problems down the road, and it will be the younger generation that foots the bill. To me that does not seem fair on the younger generation. There is money around in the UK, which big glomerate companies, big businesses, Billionaires and Millionaires are sitting on, surely they can voluntarily donate to help out with the current unprecedented crisis, and it can also be a great leveller by narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, which every government seems to promise to achieve but have so far failed miserably. If more companies and the richest donate more, then there will be less burden on individual companies and people, so let us make it a mass movement for this 'Compassion Fund' to be set-up by the government, ASAP.
