We are asking all makers and sellers of 18” girl dolls to also make BOY dolls, clothes and accessories available for sale. 

Just having girl dolls available for sale perpetuates two very outdated ideas.  First, that boys shouldn't play with dolls.  Second, that girls only want to play with girl dolls.  Having boy dolls available would enrich the world of imagination for boys and girls.  Playing with dolls helps ALL children develop and demonstrate caring, empathy and kindness that will stay with them their whole life.  

Plus, the world is half boys and half girls.  Why isn’t the (very popular) world of 18” dolls? Get with the times!

My 5-year-old sees his sister playing with her 18" dolls and wishes he could have a doll that looks like him.  He wants to dress him in jeans and play football with him.  However, currently there is no place we can buy an 18” BOY doll, or clothes or accessories.  

Let’s change this.
