Dear all,
Awesome! In just four days, we are already more than 139.000 to say no to the directive "trade secrets" which affects the right and freedom to inform and be informed!
The press began to talk about our mobilization, many personalities and journalists sign the petition, but so far no reaction in Brussels!
We have very little time before the vote of the directive in committee on June 16 and must therefore send a strong message today to members of the JURI Committee, which will decide on the future of this dangerous directive.
For that, I need you to take one more action : take 3 minutes to write to key members of the commission!
What you can send:
"Sir / Madam, I ask you to reject the draft directive "Trade Secret" which affects the right and freedom to inform and be informed. Will let you vote a text that will stop journalists, whistleblowers, and their sources to spread information of public interest, disclose health, financial or economic scandals? SAY NO TO THIS DANGEROUS DIRECTIVE. "
You can send them an e-mail or a tweet:
