This morning, loud arguing and threats of violence were clearly heard by surrounding residents. Due to concerns for safety, police were called to attend.

In a separate local community group, a member also shared a warning that multiple syringes were found in a small grassed area south of the Convention Centre, across the road from Broadbeach, and near the park in front of the casino. The member advised they have contacted Gold Coast City Council for collection and urged parents and dog owners to take extra care.

An email has also been sent to Cr Darren Taylor outlining these ongoing concerns and recent incidents.
