Appeal by 1st Lady Bay Scout Group (Registered Charity Number: 522464)

1st Lady Bay Scouts Group in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, sits in the heart of its community and has helped hundreds of children to learn, grow and develop for more than 90 years.

But our main base is no longer fit for purpose. It is beyond repair, with a leaking roof, eroding external walls, very little insulation and poor kitchen & toilet facilities. It is also unsuitable for people with disabilities.

We’ve got plans in place for a new Scout Hall – and we’ve raised £190,000 ourselves already. We’re so close…

But we’ve applied for other community funding and need to show that the new building would be an important facility for everyone to use – a hub for local groups and activities.
