This was sent on 6/7/17 at 8:33pm The recipients were: Joe.Pyritz@pinalcountyaz.gov and joshua.dezeeuw@pinalcountyaz.gov Hello gentlemen, I hope you're doing well. I would like to request an update regarding audits, change of operational processes, implementation of change management, notice violations and anything related to Johnson Utilities (JU) from Pinal County Air Quality. Our last conversation entailed that Pinal County Air Quality provided Johnson Utilities a time line to stay within the appropriate air quality range, and if failed to do so, there would be a course of action to either: bring an outside firm to help get JU in the proper air quality measures, have JU undergo change management, or other necessary courses of action to remove current management to stay within local and state air quality regulations. As far as I can tell, the smell of JU water treatment center has released a smell almost daily for the last 3 weeks. Does the audit process entail merely a stream of warnings with minimal actionable change? A petition has started which includes near 1500 signatures related to this issue - click here: https://www.change.org/p/communities-near-johnson-utilities-water-treatment-center-johnson-utilities-water-treatment-facility?source_location=minibar The tax payers are not looking for a merry-go-round of audits and violations. We are looking for visible and actionable change. We plan to bring this petition to our local and state representatives which would result in scrutiny of Pinal Count Air Quality, especially with the recent alleged bribery charges JU and local regulatory officials. What is the latest update and what courses of action has your office, Pinal County Air Quality, taken in order to establish accountability for Johnson Utilities on behalf of the Pinal County tax payers? I look forward to your expeditious response and corresponding documentation. Regards, Matt O'Connell
