Hello everyone!

I was just able to “Declare Victory” on our petition to stop the BOE from voting to close Cold Spring ELC!  An email was sent out today stating that the Board plans to postpone the vote to Close Cold Spring and will form an advisory committee tasked with analyzing what is in the best interest of the future of our district, both for building utilization and the well-being of our students (full email pasted below).

Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, shown up, and spoken for this cause.  

Now it is time to continue the pursuit for a healthy, educationally sound, and fiscally responsible school district.  Please stay informed on what the proposed committee does and what the outcomes are, and please continue to make your voice heard!  Board of Education meetings are every two weeks and public comment is allowed at every meeting.
