We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America...

We the People have come a long way since 1789, and we must continue that progress. For sure, in many regards, we have slipped or stumbled or leapt backwards. 

But in order to form a more perfect Union, we need to take up the spirit of the nation's founders to forge a vastly improved system of self-government. 

In order to rise to the aspirational visions of government of the people, by the people, and for the people, we must recommit ourselves to that noble cause. 

As the national conversations about the 2020 elections heat up, we must insist upon the inclusion of diverse voices and perspectives. We must demand that any and all independent and third party candidates with significant support be included in the polls, media coverage, and general election debates. 

Already, over 20,000 people have joined our call to #OpenTheDebates to #MoreVoicesBetterChoices. This year, we hope to reach over 100,000 signatures on our way to over a million voices calling for fair, inclusive, and informative debates.
