Twitter engagement with Comcast

I now have a twitter account @comcastdatalim1 that posts messages to Comcast to hopefully get them to respond! So far I have had a direct message conversation with them, and it goes something like this... I understand your concern and thank you for your feedback. You will need to log into your My Account with your primary username and password. Also, I would like to recommend setting up your data usage controls on certain websites or trusted devices. "There's a few problems with what you are saying. Saying that you've "always implemented data limits, but were not enforced in your area" is the same as saying "crystal meth is has always been illegal, we just didn't enforce it in your area". That makes no sense, it either is implemented or unimplemented, there is no in between, like Schrödinger's cat. Setting up data usage controls for devices and websites doesn't help with the fact that there ARE data limits that can be passed. There is absolutely no good reason except to essentially steal extra money from your customers. Also, your "estimate usage" calculator is complete crap. As more and more people have 4K TVs with 4K Netflix streaming and games are getting larger and larger (and can't be played from disc anymore) (Gears of War 4 is over 110GB in ONE download. That's over 1/10 of your data from ONE GAME) this data limit is getting to be less and less. Also since UPLOAD is included in the data usage, people who take a lot of photos and have backup services like Google Drive, Carbonite, etc, etc, can use up hundreds of GB's of data in just a couple days backing up RAW images. Also the fact that you inject code into non-encrypted http websites is absolutely abhorrent. Once you hit your data limit or the warning limit (which i do every month) you get a notification pop up inside of websites that warns you. The problems is often times it does not load and then you can't load the webpage. I am a network engineer and help tons and tons of people get their home internet set up and will NEVER recommend to get Comcast or any other company that enforces a data limit on their internet connections. It is purely a money grab and hurts everyone. The fact that you say "this will effect only a small percentage of users" is an insane statement. If the data caps are only going to effect a small percentage, then why do them? To suck money out of 3% of your customer base? This is banality, asininity. This is truly a horrifying concept that has a dark outlook for the future of American home internet connections. You should be ashamed of yourselves."
