According to the Denver Gazette:

"Dozens of items in the nearly 30-year-old unsolved JonBenet Ramsey case are being tested for DNA at the Colorado Bureau of Investigation in a renewed effort by Boulder police to find the 6-year-old's killer.

The unspecified items range from old evidence which is being retested due to breakthroughs in DNA technology, to clues from the basement crime scene which have never undergone forensic testing, according to JonBenet's older brother John Andrew Ramsey."

We hope this is true, but we wonder what took so long, since the last meeting between the Ramseys and the Boulder Police was at the end of January, 2025.

Here are items we hope are being retested:

1) All previously tested items of clothing: underwear, long johns, long john waistband, plus anything else JonBenet was wearing that night, using new M-Vac technology. This technology has been shown to extract DNA out of items when other testing failed.

2) Use M-Vac testing on all of the ligatures, including the wrist ligature and garotte.

3) Use M-Vac testing on the pony tail in her hair.

4) DNA test the baseball bat found in the back yard and the cigarette butts found in the alley.
