I recently discovered after contacting 9News to try to get them to cover a story on Paternity Fraud, that Colorado Passed a Fertility Fraud Bill in the state of Colorado very last minute. I learned that it is now a crime, for a fertility doctor to use their own semen to impregnate women. This bill is HB-1014. The legislation made it to where in parts, criminalize acts of fertility fraud, and make it easier for the offspring to sue. Making it a civil action to sue for up to $50,000, AND making it a Class 6 Felony when convicted.

So first, Colorado passes a bill that makes it a misdemeanor if a woman falsifies a birth certificate (2015), then Colorado passes a bill for Fertility Fraud. So, why not pass a bill on Paternity Fraud, because that falls into the same category as FRAUD.

Help me get the word out, we need to Make Paternity Fraud a Crime!
