We’re currently trying to track the impact this policy is having on unit closures across the country, as we believe this is information Girlguiding may be unlikely to publish publicly - or may say they do not hold.
Recent reporting around WI closures has shown how powerful this kind of data can be in highlighting wider concerns. However, for Guiding units, sharing closure information publicly can be much more difficult while also protecting the safety and privacy of leaders and members.
Because of this, we are collecting information privately in order to build a clearer picture of the impact nationwide.
The only information that will ever be shared publicly is:

• County
• Region
• Numbers affected
No identifying personal information about leaders, volunteers, or young members will be made public.
