Victory! Z-30 Quik Trip application has been withdrawn

The Attorney representing Quik Trip Corporation has withdrawn the application for a Convenience Store and fuel sales at 4815 Canton Road. They will be withdrawn without prejudice, meaning an application for a different use can come in soon. The case was to be heard again by the Board of Commissioners on February 20th and District Commissioner Birrell had requested revisions to the plan, reducing the number and location of pumps and moving the building up to Canton Road. This was apparently not feasible for the corporation and they withdrew. Thanks to all of you who signed the petition, emailed the county and sponsored this petition.
