Saving the otters is not only important for the obvious reason that it's a species that could go extinct, but they are actually extremely important to the functions of our Marine Life system as well as the issue of Global Warming. Sea urchins are invaders of the Ocean floor; they consume all of the kelp that resides there. The Co2 then has no places to go, thus resulting in the advancement of Global Warming. Otters are the main predators of Sea Urchins and they use kelp to hold on to and to sleep in without harming it at all. Our marine life and climate are dependent on these animals and we need to keep their existence alive. Please sign and help them out!
