Dear supporters,
Gracias. Thank you for the more than 1,600 eSignatures you have contributed to date. Thank you for your respectful comments and ideas shared through this and other platforms. Most importantly, thank you for coming together to speak up for all victims of this narco-terrorist; those who are among us today and living with accumulated trauma from this dark period and those who sadly paid the ultimate price for being a target or an innocent bystander to one of his maleficent attacks.
Below are two of the latest developments related to this petition—which you may well be aware of,—which we want to share in keeping you informed and, if still interested, active in your support:
1. An open letter from Adriana Contreras, Miguel Marín, Sonia Medel, Alexandra Henano, Carmen Rodríguez, Carmen Aguirre, Nohra Jacobsen, as posted on "Vancouver is Awesome": https://www.vancouverisawesome.com/2018/05/09/escobar-restaurant-boycott/
2. The May 11, 2018 episode of CBC Radio's "On the Coast with Gloria Macarenko" featuring a group of peaceful demonstrators and represented on the interview by Adriana Contreras (segment begins at 01:27:10 of the episode): http://www.cbc.ca/listen/shows/on-the-coast/episode/15543889
So far, no concrete action or response from the restaurant has been established. We will keep you posted of any additional movement in the coming days and weeks.
