Dear friends its really shameful that atrocities against doctors have been increasing .. Nine of my College mates have been arrested after being falsely accused while protecting themselves against some goons. Its high time all the doctors unite for this cause to protect ourselves. This is not the only case we have seen in the recent past. Nobody bothers when a doctor is manhandled. This has to Change!

4 drunkards misbehaved and assaulted a resident doctor and abused his female colleague. The resident doctors call upon the security guards appointed by the college administration to provide protection..The security guards say they cannot interfere.(later it was found out the drunkards were friends of a security guard and one of the security guard was drunk too)...the resident doctors unite against the assault and give them a lesson to remember and hand them over to police...

A guy shorts without showing any identity takes pictures of the resident doctors in his mobile phone while they were giving the miscreants a bashing...The guy misbehaves with the doctors and abuses them when requested to hand over the pictures..He gets a slap or two before it is realised he is from media...The whole media gathers at the hospital and abuses the doctors...doctors try to apologise to the media for the misunderstanding..the media acknowledges that the mistake was from their side as the media person did not identify himself before clicking pictures...

The doctors gave FIR against the miscreants but did not give FIR against the media person who clicked pictures and abused them in good faith with the media as compromise was reached on both sides...

Then what happens will make you believe that humanity has escaped from this world...The MKCG college administration(principal superitendent and some professors) calls some students and the JDA president,asks them to go to the police station for compromise with the media and the miscreants who were taken away by police that day...when they reached the police station...they were detained there for 8 hours and then forwarded to court...The Police had filed and build an one-sided case against the doctors...

The police has instructed the MEDIA to not cover our strike to make it ineffective and to Create a feeling of hatred against medicos in general people. ..but it doesn't know that truth never stays hidden...I appeal on u friends to sign this petition as much as possible to prevent the harassment of our innocent medicos who always battle day in and out to save your lives...I appeal on the whole medical fraternity to come out and support us at this time of difficulty when the MEDIA and POLICE are conspiring against us...
