Cafemom, the meeting place for moms, has become a breeding ground for drama and internet trolls. offenders of the websites terms of service are ignored, and many of the offenders are never punished at all. Drama is almost encouraged now, as legitimate posts are removed by site admin, but obvious troll and inflammatory posts are featured on the front page of the site. Women have been leaving for years some even in large groups, and new members are welcomed with hostility instead of kindness. The new members are warned never to post any photos of themselves, their children, their husbands, warned against using certain parts of the site, and many are subsequently harassed for doing just as they were told not to do if they wished to avoid stalking and harassment from other members. the anonymous feature in many groups is greatly abused, so much so that it seems to almost deteriorate the quality of groups it is used in. members are asking cafemom for assistance and being ignored. what we would like to see : Less advertising. more staff members interacting personally with the members. Stricter enforcement of the terms of service in a fair and unbiased way. Drama discouraged. more focus on member's safety and privacy.
