Hello Folks! Back with an update for you. I can’t believe this actually happened!!

I had a wonderful meeting with Dr. Kishore Kumar, Founder and Chairman of Cloudnine Hospitals in Bengaluru yesterday. He was very receptive to listening to my experience as well as the collective experiences of many postpartum mothers. He was kind and courteous, and he too emphasized the significance of postpartum assistance and education for expectant women.

He told us about Cloudnine's work in maternal mental health care and agreed that there are  holes to fill. He was quite open to my comments and recommendations, and came across as someone who is empathetic towards the challenges that mothers face.

I also told him about the study I've been conducting on my own through my community of mothers online and offline, both. He was open to listening and also shared some keen insights of his own. 

It was a lovely meeting and I came out hopeful. 

We have a long way to go and we are just getting started. Please continue your support to my petition so that mothers' mental health is taken seriously.
