Humane Pet Sale Ordinace

Hi All,

Lexington is one vote away from passing the Humane Pet Sale Ordinance. This ordinance would prevent retail pet stores from selling dogs and cats, meaning that dogs and cats would only be obtainable locally through the Lexington Humane Society, non-profit pet rescues, and individual breeders that sell directly to the public.

Can anyone who sees this and is local to Lexington PLEASE write to their council member in favor of this new bill? You can find an email for your local council member below, to let them know you are IN FAVOR of the Humane Pet Sale Ordinance in Lexington.
