Update – Yangsan, Yongdang Meat Dog Farm Cruelty Continues on...

Sharing update from Nami Kim: https://www.facebook.com/savekoreandogs/posts/509934505823281 This is the worst of all the dog meat farms I have seen, and I have been working on this dog farm for the past 14 months, filing civil complaints at the city hall. I brought them to the authorities on April 2014 because of violations of environment preservation and "no proper sewage system" under the livestock farming code. I filed again and again online and offline with all I could to bring its closure. I received an online reply on Monday from the city of Yangsan where the dog farm is located. The dog farmer paid the fine of $5,000 (5,000,000 Won, Korean currency) under the charge, but the dog farming business is still ongoing. It brings me to suspect that the city officials are taking bribes from the butcher (This is what constantly discourages us). I wanted to deal with the butcher directly, asking for his information, but the city refused to allow it due to the "Privacy Protection Act”, while the city official conveyed the butcher's message: "I will slaughter that woman the way I slaughter a dog". This dog farmer is known as the most violent man I had ever known, showing off his knife in front of the city official. This is going to be a never-ending battle.
