Right now, we understand Minister Watt is negotiating with the Coalition to finalise changes to our environment laws. These laws have been designed to "remove red tape" and will not require consideration of the climate impacts of projects.

Please add your name to the Australia Institute’s petition calling on the Minister to fix this. The petition will be backed up by a campaign so our Parliamentarians will have to take notice. 

Australia Institute research shows that Australia is currently expanding both gas and coal with 94 new fossil fuel projects under development, and that emissions have continued to increase. We must stop this!
