A resident of 20+ years,we have had very little to no privacy.  We do not wish to leave our home, so we built a privacy fence and patio cover that I believe exceeds the neighborhood standard.  Our children have not been able to go out into their own yard without adult supervision prior to this due to the unfortunate decline of the neighborhood.  We would like to remain in the neighborhood and be a positive force, but we do also need a certain amount of privacy and peace of mind. The city is trying to have us remove these additions to our property and it is with your support that we hope to keep them intact.
