Everyone, Pieper Lewis is not being sentenced to prison. Pieper bravely took the stand during her final hearing. The burden of evidence and endless support from you guys, media, and everything around that lead her to justice. This petition was a gave me such a large glimmer of hope. I am forever grateful that we as a community came together and ensured her justice. Pieper is now put on probation for 5 years. She is required to pay $150,000 in legal fees towards Zachary Brooks family. Leland Schipper, a formal teacher of Lewis, created a GoFundMe for her. An outpour of generous donations has lead to $200,000 plus dollars in donations. She has no more troubles in legal fees and the rest of the donations will go towards her college. Everything we do in this society has an immense impact. The social influence we caused helped lead the charge in getting a child justice. I will be forever grateful for all of the amazing words of support and love you have all given her. Giving me the platform to create this is something I will always hold close to my heart.
