Allow Iceland's Christmas Orangutan Advertisement
Allow Iceland's Christmas Orangutan Advertisement
The Issue
Iceland’s Christmas campaign has been banned from TV.
Apparently telling the truth is too political.
From the Guardian
"Earlier this year, Iceland became the first major UK supermarket to pledge to remove palm oil from all its own-brand foods. Habitat loss in countries such as Malaysia – a major global producer of palm oil – has contributed to the orangutan now being classified as critically endangered."
Clearcast has banned the advertisement.
Iceland have taken up the torch for the plight of the orangutan and are leading the way that so many of us want the food production and retail businesses to take.
Please sign and share and let the public be moved.
Please also act with your buying power ... choose ethically.
Thank you
