I am writing you today to express my deep appreciation for the work that the NYPD especially the 1st precinct has been doing in our local community of down town Manhattan and especially on Canal Street. The officers for the NYPD have been working tirelessly to keep us safe and to ensure that our community remains a great place to live, work and visit. They work long hours, often under difficult and dangerous conditions with limited resources these days, and they do so with dedication and professionalism.
This Thursday Mach 30 will be the 1st Precinct Community Council Zoom Meeting, please show support by attending the meeting if you can. The illegal vendors and criminals are trying to creep there way back on canal street and create a under ground market of illegal goods & drugs. We need to stay diligent by showing our support that we want the NYPD to continue to Clean Up Canal. This Thursday we have that opportunity by showing our support of the NYPD by attending and our concerns heard moving forward.
