Hello everyone, as of today the petition has 240 signatures. I heard in January that the mine at Paxton was to close in March as Yancoal no longer wanted to work the mine. I don't know if a new company will come to work the mine. I have asked several M.P.'s offices on the area at the time, only to be told that they will get back to me. Well, I still haven't heard anything. However it is still important to keep getting signatures and to keep putting pressure on the Government. The Cessnock Railway line will be re-opened, it's not a matter of 'if', but 'when'.
