As it stands this intersection is dangerous and experiences severe congestion at peak times.  Changing it to a roundabout will improve safety by having vehicles coming from the Acton Road direction be able to turn right without having to give way to cars from the left that vanish out of sight though the dip.  It will also improve safety and traffic flows at peak times, especially at school drop off/pick up and peak hour by reducing the congestion that flows back into the school car park/along Acton Road.
