At present the UK shale gas industry is unfairly limited in comparison to other, similar industries and we call on Claire Perry MP and Greg Clark MP to ensure that Lancashire does not miss out on jobs, investment, and energy security as a result of this.

Lancashire’s shale gas workers can be given a level playing field by reviewing the traffic light system now to bring this fairly and safely into line with other comparative industries across the UK.
